French longbowmen in skirmish order, the 60 x 60 base fits into the castle towers I am building for my big terrain project this year. lots more on the way for the next week or so before my birthday parade!

Did the French have longbows......and if so, why didnt they think of using them at Agincourt and Crecy?! Wonderful looking figures whatever the case Matt.

Yes quite a few, one man for every ten hearths in the parish was paid to be a full time archer (spear or bow). The arrière-ban (muster rolls) mention them regularly but not in great numbers.
