Did the French have longbows......and if so, why didnt they think of using them at Agincourt and Crecy?! Wonderful looking figures whatever the case Matt.

Yes quite a few, one man for every ten hearths in the parish was paid to be a full time archer (spear or bow). The arrière-ban (muster rolls) mention them regularly but not in great numbers.
