Roman Caesarian seige engine

 Caesarian Heavy Siege Machines

The beginnings of my late Republican /Caesarian Roman’s for the conquest of Gaul. I have already started a few pieces but the main effort has commenced with my artillery and soon some command then the infantry in suspect in March as I need to complete a few foreign orders ….

The miniatures are from Warlord Games, I have one more onager to complete which is getting a small conversion and some crew variance

Indians lots of ‘em

 Indians

Ok not lots of them, but a few additions to my FIW collection. Again from the old conquest range now owned by Warlord Games. I am sort of happy the the flesh colour. I am sure they are from different tribes as the head roachs are very different and if I remember correctly conquest had a whole series of articles on his blog about the differences.

Magua why do you hate the grey hair

Mauga a leader of his people

Next if the painting desk is the old conquest (now Warlord) Magua miniature. I really like the miniature and have tried to copy the paint scheme later in the movie. I really love the character in the book and Wes Studi done a fine job in the movie.

 Jasta 18 Rabens Ravens

A project that has the aircraft built in some cases for 7 years or more, I finally decided to get this unit done in a mad rush of three days for the analogue painting challenge. Apart for airbrush undercoat white, all hand painted, the transfers are from Pheon Models range. the aircraft are 1/72 a mix of Airfix, Roden and Italeri I think......the pilots are a mix of Airfix and Wartime Miniatures ww1 pilots all ready for a Canvas Eagles or WOW clash!
