6th Chevau-Leger Lancier regiment

 6th Chevau-Leger Lancier regiment

Completed the First Sqaudron, 28mm warlord games Chevau leger lancers.

The regiments elite figures had added plumes from the Victrix Bavarians added, epaulettes from the warlord frame. The elite company had red pantaloons, red epaulettes and fringes, red helmet comb and white plumes. The unit also had buff facings and belts. The lance pennant is unusual as it is reversed white over red, rather than red over white like the other French chevau-leger lancer regiments. I have been unable to drill down to find out an explanation yet for this.

I plan to add the eagle and standard in a grand parade for Napoleons with band  in April, when I complete the third regiment of Lancers. I am quite happy with my results. In April I plan to focus on additional units for my 1813 campaign army and hopefully kick off the resin printer for some additional Piano wargames figures.

This whole reveal looks amazing. I really like the base work as well. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers, I normally complete the horses first and base, then complete the riders. The yellow flowers represent Gorse (Plantagenet shrub) which is prolific in France.
