I both have a fascination with Military History, a lifelong wargamer and also historical re-enactment. My main periods of interest are the Roman Empire, Sassanid empire, Dark age Western Europe, Norman invasions of France and England, early medieval France and England, Heraldry and fealty High medieval , late 17th, 18th 19th century France and Napoleonic German states, also Western Europe WW2 and some Cold War modern conflicts.
